The Columbus Bar Association (CBA) is pleased to offer online continuing education programs for legal secretaries and paralegals. These programs are designed to introduce the novice to the essentials of law office support, and to provide reviews of specific practice areas for the more seasoned veterans of the profession.

Each program consists of a video lecture or discussion of a particular practice area. Materials provided by speakers may be downloaded for each session. The textbooks used for the live presentations for all “Law Office Basics” seminars are:

Legal Secretary’s Complete Handbook, Fourth Edition, by Mary A. DeVries
The Law and You, published by the Ohio State Bar Association and available at www.ohiobar.org

Registrants wishing to purchase these may do so at their own expense. The CBA's online courses have been approved for Continuing Education credits by NALS . . . the association for legal professionals.
