Frequently Asked Questions

Requirements:
  • What do I need in order to view the courses?
    • A current version of Windows Media Player A current version of Adobe Internet Explorer (v 6.0 or greater) Make sure you do not have a firewall Make sure you have disabled pop-up blockers
    System Requirements:
  • Do I need a high speed connection to the Internet?
    • A connection to the Internet of at least 56 kbps is highly recommended, and most people now have connections at that speed or faster.
  • What do I need to view the course materials?
    • The current version of Adobe Reader, available for download free from  Adobe.
  • What software do I need to listen to the audio or video courses?
    • The current version of Windows Media Player is available for download free from Windows Media Player
  • Does my computer need any extra hardware?
    • A sound card and speakers.
  • What web browsers can I use?
    • Internet Explorer 6.0 or later. Regardless of your Internet service provider, you must use one of the aforementioned programs to access our online courses.
  • Any special settings I need for my browser?
    • Cookies must be enabled on the browser. This is the default setting for Internet Explorer and Netscape.
