“Continuing a Tradition of Excellence in Chiropractic Education”
New York Chiropractic College is one of the nation’s premier chiropractic educational institutions. This status was achieved as a result of a steadfast commitment to enhancing its academic and clinical curriculum. The College’s tradition of excellence is also attributed to a highly qualified and well-credentialed faculty, an award-winning research department, and a student body that meets the academic and clinical demands that are the hallmark of the College’s mission. Another example of the College’s long-standing commitment to excellence in chiropractic education is the development and implementation of NYCC’s Postgraduate Online-Education Program.
The Online-Education Program will enable you to expand your knowledge of the ever-evolving science, art and philosophy of chiropractic. The online-distance learning courses will provide you with the opportunity to learn and interact with the same NYCC postgraduate faculty whose authenticity and depth of knowledge you have come to trust. In addition, these courses are designed to meet the continuing education requirements of those specific states that recognize this medium.
The challenges facing our profession’s expanding roles, as members of the emerging integrative health care system and as caregivers of our patients and communities, require that we as individual practitioners commit to lifelong learning. It is my firm belief that the continuing education courses offered through the online-distance learning programs, as well as our classroom lecture presentations will contribute toward your ability to meet this challenge. And finally, this new method of online learning will once again affirm the College’s commitment to a tradition of excellence in chiropractic education.
PLEASE NOTE: Several state boards for chiropractic require the number of online continuing education credit hours earned must equal the number of hours the doctor is actually online and engaged in the material. Therefore, the Exam will not be available until the online time corresponding with the credit hours has elapsed. Please feel free to call 1 800 434-3955 if you need additional information.
NOTICE: Effective September 2014 ALL online courses purchased must be completed no later than 180 days from date of purchase.
